[TXT to Danny] Esme: Hello Danny! I had a question! Oh, this is Esme btw
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Hi there, Esme. What's your question?
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Did you by chance leave this for me at the ice palace after my swan lake debut? Also, thank you if you did!
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Photo Sent: Colorful bouquet
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Very pretty, but no, not me. From those colors, I'm not sure you should be asking guys.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Oh... You were my last hope, Danny. I mean, there are a few others I could ask but. Oh? what do you mean by that?
[TXT to Esme] Danny: I mean, it might have been a lady who sent those to you.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: I know that part, silly! But why? What about these colors?
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Those are rainbow colors, which are often used in stuff representing the queer community.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Hmm, interesting. A card came with it stating Esme, Congrats on opening night and brilliant performance with no name
[TXT to Danny] Esme: All this time I've been hunting down all the guys I knew when I should be asking the girls.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Though, I mainly hang out with guys so. Weirdly!
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Have you asked all the guys you work with?
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Both of my roommates are guys. And one of them even asked me WHY I would think that he would give me flowers. I mean. RUDE.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: I asked the one I was friends with. Lucien.
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Yeah, that was kind of rude. But like....I mean, what are your options? Friends, coworkers....maybe some random person in the audience who was struck by your performance.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: That would be unfortunate. The only way that I would find out who it was would be when they break into my apartment and we have a face off where I threaten them to leave or else slice them open with the blade of my skate while they stand around taking pictures or try to steal my clothes or something. My roommates will be pissed.
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Well, if they're another employee.....have you asked on the forums?
[TXT to Danny] Esme: NO... then everyone will know!
[TXT to Danny] Esme: I guess I could make a post with the picture of the flowers with the question Are these yours?
[TXT to Esme] Danny: See, there you go. And what's wrong with people knowing?
[TXT to Danny] Esme: What if that person is shy and I'm calling them out!
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Well, it's not like they'll be compelled to respond, if they are. Just do a post thanking the giver for the flowers, post the picture.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Okay, I'll do that! Great idea! Should I post that they not break into my apartment?
[TXT to Esme] Danny: .....I don't think you need to request that. I mean, not every secret admirer is a crazed stalker and if they're too shy to confess their admiration to your face, I can't imagine that they're going to be bold enough to show up and meet you at home.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Alright that makes sense and i'll make a note of it. So! what have you been up to since telepathing with Huck? I'm not trying to be nosy or anything. Okay, maybe I am.
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Well, not much. Working. Though I did take part in one of the dives on the wreck. Turns out being able to be a seal is a very useful substitute for SCUBA training. My training's very rusty.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: You can turn into a seal????? So cute!
[TXT to Esme] Danny: I can. Though what I turned into was a leopard seal. If you don't know what those look like, look 'em up before saying 'cute'.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Looking!
[TXT to Danny] Esme: This thing? https://cdn.hswstatic.com/gif/leopard-seal-1.jpg
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Yeah. That is a cute picture of them. Though find one with its mouth open.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: https://dosits.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Antarctic_Sound-2016-Brown_BluffLeo-pard_seal_Hydrurga_leptonyx_05-400x267.jpg Awwwwwwwwwwww. Yawn.
[TXT to Esme] Danny: That's an adorable picture, too.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: You did say to find one with an open mouth so.... Cute too! How many animals can you turn into?
[TXT to Esme] Danny: I haven't found a limit yet. The current count is dog, fox, house cat, raven, peregrine falcon, cougar, horse, wolf, bear, otter, and leopard seal.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: A horse too!!! That is amazing! You can turn into any animal it seems! And you don't even have to be in the animal's presence to take its form. Interesting. Because I'm pretty sure we don't have cougars here.
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Well, not now. I'm sure Michigan used to have them. Yeah, I don't have to be around a given animal. Thank God.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Is it weird when people ride on you when you're an animal?
[TXT to Esme] Danny: That hasn't happened yet. The idea of it feels weird, though.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Okay, I'll try not to ask though. But if you can be a horse. 🙁
[TXT to Esme] Danny: I'll think about it. I haven't had any tack on. I suppose I should give it a try, so I can know how it feels to my actual horses.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: But I will go ahead and make that post! YOU HAVE HORSES? I thought you had dogs. Did I know you had horses?
[TXT to Esme] Danny: No. Because I don't have horses here. I grew up on a horse farm back in Georgia. My horses are there.
[TXT to Esme] Danny: This is my favorite, the one I raised. His name is Cloud. <<The image is of a tall Thoroughbred, a gray so pale he's nearly white.>>
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Cloud is so precious!
[TXT to Danny] Esme: So can you ride like a cowboy then?
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Sure c an.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: I've never ridden a horse before, but one day! I'm always concerned that I'll break a leg and there goes my skating career!
[TXT to Esme] Danny: That's unlikely but not impossible, so I do understand your concern.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Oh! So it's an unlikely thing to happen??
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Thats good to know!
[TXT to Esme] Danny: It's certainly rare. I've never known anyone it happened to and I used to do show jumping.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: I've seen Gone with the Wind... but I guess that little girl didn't just break a leg, she died.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Oooh, show jumping!
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Oh, Christ. Yeah, she did.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: I guess with good trainers and people to actually watch over you, accidents like that shouldn't happen.
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Yeah. I won't say never, but with a well trained horse and in nearly every context, serious injury is rate. You take up something like bronco busting, all bets are off.
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Rare, I mean.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: I might try it one of these days! We have horses to ride here. For the tourist...
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Yeah, I was just talking to Joshua about it. I'm gonna see if stable staff would be cool with me kind of teaching him to ride.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Oh! That's nice of you!
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Well, I know that you're busy, so I don't want to have to instruct me as well!
[TXT to Esme] Danny: I was thinking that it'd be kind of therapeutic for him. Horses are so good at reflecting what's going on with their riders that it really forces you to kind of learn to control your own body a lot better. We could see about it. But first I still need to make sure I'm allowed to do it at all.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: I wonder if that's a similar feel to ice skating. Like if you have good control of your body.
[TXT to Esme] Danny: I wonder. Haven't ice skated enough to really say.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Only one way to test this out!
[TXT to Esme] Danny: You want me to come ice skating?
[TXT to Danny] Esme: I meeeeean, I meant to say how ice skating and body control with the horse... Sure, I guess! I mean, only if you want to try and skate! It's like riding a bike! Easy Peasy once your muscles remember to do the things.
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Sure. i did when I was a kid, a few times.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Okay! And if you get good at ice skating, you can join our hockey team!
[TXT to Esme] Danny: That might be a bit much for me.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: There are people who are interested who don't even know how to skate or play hockey. I can only do one, but I'll try my best there too! Nooooo pressure though!
[TXT to Esme] Danny: Well, we'll see. I'll get in touch with you soon about the horse stuff, once I know.
[TXT to Danny] Esme: Okay thanks! And I'll. Oh I guess I should make that post. Thanks for the advice!
[TXT to Esme] Danny: You're more than welcome. I'll talk to you soon.
