[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: Hey Sammy. I am on my way back from work. You still awake?
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: Hey! I am! How was work?
[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: It was fine, nothing to report which is always good news. Means I don't have to do paper work. Do you think you will still be awake by the time the ferry gets me back and I change into my jammies?
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: Good to hear! Yeah I think so? I'm not long for this world though so I don't think I'll be up for hours and hours of talking about the universe on the rooftop haha.
[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: That is fine. I don't need hours and hours. Do you think I smoke like a choo choo or something? 😛
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: The only one who knows that answer is YOU 😆
[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: For now! LOL but fair I guess. What are you up to? Did the rest of your errands go well?
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: Oh you know, just scrolling my feed endlessly. The errands were good. Annoying but good. Why is there only ever one person working at the post office at a time??
[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: I wish I knew the answer to that but I think it is to try and detour use for going to see them. Any luck on your furniture?
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: Yeah if I could do post office stuff at home, I'd probably never leave the house 😆
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: No luck yet.
[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: That is fair about the post office but I am so so sorry that they still can't get your furniture to you. Super sucks. Did they at least say what is causing the delay this time?
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: Stuck in transit. Like always. It's alright though, I'm used to watching stuff on my laptop anyway. I'll give it another two weeks and then I'm just gonna buy whatever at the thrift store.
[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: Well once everything is set up at my place, I doubt Lee would care if I invited you over to watch stuff on the tv. They work second shift. Wait what shift do you usually work?
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: Sure! That's nice of you. My shift changes regularly, so it depends on the week since sometimes I sub out someone else or whatever. Usually it's either open til noon or noon to close.
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: Is your schedule more set?
[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: Yeah for the most part. I almost always work third shift unless I trade or volunteer at a different location. I think it is cause I like to do the tricks and the tourist love it
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: What kinda tricks? Setting things on fire?
[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: I mean sure yeah. But I also flip and twirl the bottles too.
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: Like that movie? The Tom Cruise one? Did you have to take classes to learn or were you born being able to flip bottles?
[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: I did go to bartending school but I mostly would practice for giggles cause of the movies honestly. And the only Tom Cruise movie that comes to mind right now is Knight & Day but I know that isn't the one you are talking about. Lemme google, one second <3
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: That makes sense! I think it was an older one? Where he's a bartender being all fancy and stuff. Anyway, that's super cool
[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: oh Cocktail. Ha. Funny. But yeah. I used weighted plastic ones at first and then started with glass once I felt more confident. I am almost back to my apartment, still awake enough to come up and smoke with me?
[TXT to Shirley] Sammy: Plastic! Okay very smart. No glass shattered in the making of the bartender. Yeah I'm awake. I'll head up there in a bit.
[TXT to Sammy] Shirley: Okies See You Soon
