It was mid-week and the Spookeasy wasn't that crowded but there was a fair amount of people in the building, empty tables still remained, chairs unspoken for, the couch was occupied by one. Evie sat there in black long sleeve shirt, an under bust corset and a long black skirt that had a slit that went up to the middle of her thigh.

With a cocktail in her hand, her legs crossed, a high heeled shoe pumped bouncing up and down as she looked on to the band that been brought in to play and encourage people to come in. It was jazz with a spooky sound, it was fantastic and Evie was here for it.

It is late enough that Phineas's tour is over, and now he has free time before he calls it a night. This means that tonight he's dressed in a suit. It is part of his persona when he plays tour guide. Already having lost his tie to his suit pocket and a hand is ruffling through his hair, a sigh is heard.

He looks around as if trying to figure out where he wants to sit. Seeing Evie, he walks in her direction and smiles at her, "Hey, can I sit with you? What are you drinking?" He hasn't decided on his drink either.

Kairo has finished his appointments for the night and the tattoo parlor downstairs is closed, which means that he has called it a day and headed out to the Spookeasy for a little bit of free time before heading homeward. He's dressed in his usual black, from his turtleneck sweater to his jeans and boots. Wandering the room with a glass in his hand, he notices Phineas from his tours and gives him an up-nod of greeting. "Hey. Spook anybody good tonight?" he asks, wondering if any of the tourists had freaked out at any of the stories. He offers a smile to Evie as well and lifts his glass to her in a salute of greeting.

Slowly Evies eyes are drawn from the band and turn up towards Phineas as he approaches, the drink in her hand is lifted and she gestures to the open space near her, "Please," The drink is settled back on her knee her index finger tapping at the widest part of the martini glass she was holding, "A French martini." For whatever reason it was a purple color, probably to go with the atmosphere in this space. "It's pretty good."

Attention shifts to Kairo as he comes in and walks towards her and Phineas, she's looking him over as he speaks to Phineas and she smiles. "Spook someone?" Her interest is now peaked.

Apparently this is the place to be for people getting off work. Ravin has arrived and is heading for the bar to place an order. They've managed to find a Victorian style, velvet smoking jacket and are wearing that over palazzo pants. Their makeup is sharp, dark, and sparkly with shimmering blacks and purples.

"I did. It was a mother with teens. I thought they would be a hard sell, but I got them good." Phineas tells Kairo. He's proud of that fact, too.

"Oh yeah?" Phineas finds a seat next to Evie and studies her martini. "Okay, I am sold. I'll try that." He seems a lot more relaxed now that he is off work. In seeing Ravin, Phineas lifts a hand in case they see it. "There is room here if you'd like to join us." He's already assuming Kairo will take a seat, too.

Kairo gives Phineas too a salute with his glass. "Congratulations on a successful scare."

He'd made no assumptions about joining and seems to just be idly standing around, prepared to wander one way or another depending on where the conversation takes him. He then explains to Evie, "Phineas gives spooky haunted tours of the park. He wins when he manages to make someone give a truly undignified shriek." There's a mischievous smile that tugs at the edge of his lips.

Following Phineas' glance over toward Ravin, he says, "That is a fantastic jacket," to no one in particular. He also moves out of the way so that there's room for more without having to go around him.

Evie looks from Phineas to Kairo as he explains what exactly it is that Phineas does, the details cause her lips to turn up in a smile and her black eye-lined cat eyes to glint with appreciation. "I love that."

Gesturing to the area to Kairo, "If you're staying, you are welcome to join us," turning her head to Phineas, "My new friend..." what had Kairo just said? "Phineas and I would love for you to sit." Looking over at Ravin and recognizing him from one of her previous visits to this place, "I'm Evie." This is said to all of them. Perhaps a reminder for Ravin.

"He's right, that is a great jacket." point a finger at Ravin.

Ravin collects his drink, apparently something involving hot apple cider and blackberry schnapps. He grins and heads in the direction of the grouping. "I will absolutely join you. Ravin. And thank you. I found it in a little boutique in St. Paul. It is distressingly comfortable. Scaring people for a little sounds delightful, since they were presumably in the market for being scared if they went on a ghost tour."

You know what they say about assumptions, and at least Phineas can flush about that when he notes that Kairo is still standing. Looking to Evie and then to Ravin when they join the small group happening.

"Yep. I do love my job. I didn't think I would at first because I felt bad scaring people, but I figure it's a bad day if I don't make a body whimper." This makes him laugh to himself. "Thank you." This is said to Evie as he took it as a compliment. He's putting names and faces with Evie and Ravin and even murmurs their names as if to put them to memory. "Yeah, well after the New Year those ghosts did become a little more real and not just my imagination." He doesn't go into full details because that would spoil his act and maybe no one would want to come. "I'll be right back." He gets up from his seat to go to the bar to order that purple martini like Evie's.

"Kind of like the Midnight Maze. You don't go into the maze littered with disclaimers about scare actors and it not being for small children without expecting a bit of a scare," Kairo says as he does drop into a chair across from the couch so that he can see everyone, making himself comfortable. His own glass seems to be a red wine, or what closely resembles red wine. He lifts it and takes a sip after leaning back comfortably in his chair. "Kairo," he offers and then gestures with his glass down below. "I work at the Quill and Ink downstairs." The tattoo parlor nearby.

"I didn't get here until New Year's. I've only been working for about a month and a half. I haven't even seen all of the park yet," he admits. "But I do like the vibe here, so I tend to linger around and then head back out. I'd probably see more of it if I worked further away from the park entrance." The Boo'edwalk is pretty close up the shore from the Court of Portals and the ferry home.

I adore quaint shops like that." Evie tells Ravin "You can find some of the best purchases." Bringing the martini glass to her lips she takes a small sip from it, looking from Kairo to Phineas "Is that when the ghosts started appearing?" After New Years.

When Phineas gets up from the couch to go and order her drink she looks back to Kairo. Most of her tattoos were covered in the outfit she'd chosen for the night, there was black ink poking out from the neckline of her long-sleeve shirt, and one prominent tattoo was on the side of her hand, easily spotted when she lifted her glass to drink it. "Sounds like we'll be come friends, I'll have to come to see you when my next tattoo idea sparks."

Amusement showed on Evie's face as she says "I arrived on New Years day too."

Ravin laughs. "You really can. I arrived about a week later. So, I'm afraid I am no help on the subject of when various things appeared. Except the little bunnies. I managed to get a friend to watch mine today." They study Kairo for a moment. "What style or styles do you normally work in?"

When Phineas got up, those near him would have seen that he has a skull tattoo on one of his fingers. He's got other tattoos too, but he's walking away for said drink. It will be a few minutes before he returns with a glass resembling Evie's. He did hear enough of what the conversation was about.

"I guess I am the oldie of the group then." He seems amused as he takes his seat once again. "Been here awhile. Saw the big blue ball and everything." Maybe the three heard about that. He glances at Ravin when they speak about rabbits. "Oh yeah, I have seen others looking for them. It is almost a scavenger hunt or something. It was amusing watching them when I took a smoke break." Snuggle bunnies are everywhere. "I think the ghosts have always been here, but the spirits in things? They made themselves known." Hopefully, he got that right. Sometimes, he uses ghost and spirit interchangeably.

Kairo doesn't know the answer to Evie's question so he just shakes his head slightly with a little shrug. Then he glances over toward Phineas to see if he has the answer. His own tattoos are also largely covered given the turtleneck he has on, though the ones on the back of his hands, mandala-like patterns, can be seen before the sleeves cover his wrists. "Whenever you're ready," he tells her. "Come over and see me. We'll see what we can do."

"I do a lot of black and grey work as that's what I focused on back home, though I've been doing some more new school bright and cartoony pieces here, getting a bit more colorful to go along with the new atmosphere." He gestures vaguely with his wine glass at the park as a whole. "It's been an interesting challenge, branching out. But there's still a lot of requests for the black and grey."

He nods when Phineas mentions the big blue ball. He's certainly heard others describe it, even if he didn't see it himself. "I think I've seen one of them. Someone walked by the door with it singing the other day. I thought it was like a furby but I guess it was real."

"I like black tattoos over the colored one," Evie tells Kairo, it was just her style and the little bits of tattoo that can be seen are all black.

It's Phineas that gets her attention though, having been the 'oldest' employee in the group of them, "I've heard about the blue ball explosion thing? It's all anyone could talk about when I got here." she'd not run into any of the 'bunnies' yet so she had nothing to add about those little guys. At first when Kairo was talking about the Bunnies, she'd thought he meant ghosts walking by but the word 'furby' changes that and she smiles just a little.

"I see a lot of them over at the resort," this time she was talking about ghosts. "There are plenty of people haunt this place for one reason or another."

Ravin snorts. "They mostly sing the same call over and over. Apparently the secret is finding another one which makes the same call. I need to take mine around hunting more, but I have realized that I can not trust them alone in my dressing room. But yes. They are adorable and snuggly and will eat anything sweet left unattended near them. The bunny things, not the ghosts. Or at least I don't know about the ghosts." They lounge against the end of the couch and sip their drink. "Interesting. I keep considering tattoos, but have not, yet, actually gotten one."

"Maybe I will come by too." Phineas muses out loud. He still has skin that could stand another design or two. The way he is dressed, most of his artwork is covered save for what is on his finger. But if he really wanted to, he could put a ring there to cover it up. But really, he likes tattoos, which are freedom of expression if anyone asks him. He is content to listen to Kairo when he speaks of what kind of work he does. Finally, he takes a sip of that martini. He seems to like it. He has not spit it out.

"Oh yeah?" Turning to look at Evie, he asks her, "Can you speak with them, or do you just see them?" Only here would this be a normal conversation. He is curious about Evie's answer.

"Sounds like we need to make a field trip to Kario's studio." Lips upturned, "I mean if everyone is up for it." A glance to Kario, "If it won't overwhelm you."

"So do I," Kairo agrees with Evie. "All of mine are black and grey."

Kairo chuckles at the idea of the small pink bunny things eating sweets and being unable to be left unattended. "What do they do when left on their own? Are they like Gremlins? Or the Mogwai were the cute ones, right? If you fed them after midnight or got them wet they'd turn into Gremlins?" Listen, all his strange critter knowledge is probably movie-related.

Kairo smiles amusedly when Phineas suggests a field trip, "As long as it's not tonight. I don't do work when I've been drinking." He lifts his glass toward Phineas in a little salute. "Clients prefer a steady and sober hand. But perhaps sometime when we haven't all been drinking, you're all more than welcome."

"If you've gone this long to get one," That tattoo Evie is saying to Ravin, "Wait until you know exactly what you want. I've been in some shops where the people are just getting something to get it, and not thinking that they now have to look at it every day." Kairo might be able to attest to that too, "One time, this girl came in when I was getting word down on my back, the guys she was with convinced her it would a great idea to get a full pirate ship," Gesturing on her own body "All the way across her chest. In the end she was crying, she just turned 18 that day." It was very sad.

A small nod of her head is given to Phineas, the small smile still playing on her lips, "I can, surprisingly very chatty. What about you? Can you speak to them?"

Evie had not seen any of these bunny creatures personally, but the idea that they were like Gremlins amused her, and she laughed softly.

Nodding her head at Kairo, "I personally appreciate a sob tattoo artist," and with that being said she turns back to Phineas again, "Another time, and I'll go with you."

Phineas is still drinking his purple drink. He's also studying his skin to see where he would put his next tattoo and what kind. He's listening and hears black and grey. He has a variety on his skin, even if they are mostly hidden.

Looking up when Kairo mentions Gremlins, he looks amused by that movie. "I never watched that movie fully, but I know what you are talking about." His own glass is lifted in Kairo's direction. "To future times." He doesn't blame Kario or Evie at all if they wish to take this trip when all are somber.

Grimacing is when Evie shares a story about a girl and her first tattoo experience.

"Yes, I can speak with them. Can't summon them. But if need be I can turn into one to." That last part seems to amuse him because he's giving a small chuckle for it. "I would like that." Phineas assures Evie about future tattoos. Looking to Ravin, "What say you?"
