Ravin's been calling the people who commented on the employee post, arranging meet-ups to see if the bunnies are a match. Thus far, no luck, but maybe this time it will be different. They've acquired tea and a mini quiche for themselves and a raspberry tart for their bun, Point, and have settled at a table off to one side. They told Rowan they'd be the black person in a purple velvet jacket. And, indeed, they are.

Rowan has also been trying to text or message around because, omg, the plaintive song and squeaking is just breaking his heart! Poor Sammi (the cat) has been trying to get the little guy to snuggle up or play, but it's seemed that the critter has been uninterested in the cat's attempts to make friends. He orders a tea for himself and a cake pop for the bunny tucked into an inner pocket of his coat before looking out to try to find the one meeting the description.

He's dressed in his his favorite 'uniform' of a pair of torn, black slender-cut jeans, black combat boots, and this time it's a black sweater. Overtop he wears what could be a waxed canvas duster with a dark burgundy trim and lining. Finding the one who seems to fit the description, he brings his tea and cake-pop closer, "Ravin?" is asked even as the bunny starts to peek it's head out. No doubt it smelled the sweets.

Ravin looks up and gives Rowan a smile and a look over. "Rowan, I presume? Lovely to meet you." Point perks up from where they've been nibbling on the tart and sings their song-o. Ravin seems poised for pets in case of more disappointment. "I don't think I've met you, yet. I sing at the amphitheater. Please, join me." He gestures to the other seat at his table.

"Thanks," Rowan offers with a slight smile that even then, shows the tips of his fanged canines. "It's good to meet you too. I'm over at the Boo'edwalk and don't really get much of a chance to wander. I'm a performer over there." He'll take the seat and set down the tea and cake pop.

The bunny-critter, however, who was hiding in the pocket of Rowan's jacket shifts and goes to try and peek it's head out at the song let out by the one with Ravin, it's ears at attention and it's eyes wide and looking about. It gives a couple of trills before singing it's own song.

Point's ears perk up and it sings the matching song again then scrambles up onto the table and over to peer down at the pocket, waiting.

Ravin blinks, well, that's a new reaction from the snugglebunny. Though he listens to the song and smiles. Slightly distractedly, he asks "Oh? What kind of performance? Maybe I'll come watch a show on one of my days off. Also, does yours have a name, yet?"

Rowan squirms some as his own snugglebunny tries to wiggle out of the pocket it's in to get to the other now, on the table. It sings the song back again and trills and scrabbles while Rowan tries to get it out of the pocket. He'll finally set it down on the table so that it can see Ravin's.

"Close-up magic and whip tricks," Rowan answers after a moment, remembering the question and moving his tea out of the way of the two critters. "I named it Billie Hopiday, but mostly call it Billie."

Ravin raises one eyebrow in a decided arch and then grins knowingly. "Whip tricks, hmm? And a delightful name choice. I've named mine Point, after Jack Point from Yeomen of the Guard."

He watches the bunnies snuffling each other and wrapping themselves into a ball of intertwined fluff as they sing together a bit more quietly than before. "Well, that seems successful at least. I was beginning to despair."

"They're supposed to do this, right?" Rowan tilts his head as the bunnies snuggle with each other. At least they seem much happier having found each other! Since they're decidedly focused on each other, it leaves Rowan to work on his tea. "I don't think I get the name reference."

There's another look to the bunnies, "We're not going to have baby bunnies, are we?"

Ravin studies the bunnies. "I have no idea, but I hope not. They would deplete the sugar supply of North America very quickly. I'm not honestly sure how to tell their sex. That said, yes, this is apparently normal. I'm told after a day or two of spending time together, they fade to a sort of gray and stop singing so much." Ravin laughs a little. "Are you familiar with the song 'I Have a Song to Sing-o'? Jack Point is one of the characters who sings that song. Also, it was sort of a joke on counterpoint, being just the one melody."

"You heard this? Huh. So...do they just do this forever now?" He looks again at the bunnies. "Do you take both? Do I? Or...do we separate them again once they turn grey?" Rowan sips at his tea, "If you want to take Billie for the couple of days, I'm ok with that. We have several animals already in our apartment. It might want a break," if it even noticed all the others? Surely his own cat was trying to play with it, to no avail. "I can give you money for food and stuff..."

There's a shake of his head at the mention of the song, "Sorry, I'm not familiar. But hey, names are names, right?"

Ravin grins. "I think they want to stay together or at least visit often for a while. They seem to relax about it once they've faded, but yeah. I can take them for a couple days. I don't have any other animals at my place. And don't worry about money for food; I can handle it." Ravin laughs and takes a sip of his tea. "It's a Gilbert and Sullivan show, so a little old school, but I like it. And yeah, names are names. It's nice meeting you, anyway." He looks back to the cuddling animals. "I'll keep you updated on their progress, send photos and things."

Rowan looks back to the bunnies as they both finally seem so happy! "I mean, I'm happy to take Billie back once they're all set with each other. My cat really wanted to be buddies with it..." and maybe now it can be?

He'll make sure that they've exchanged information. "Thanks. I'm happy to do whatever if you need it." There's another fanged smile, "It was nice to meet you too."

"Of course! Not trying to kidnap Billie permanently." Ravin watches them fondly for a bit. "They really do seem much happier." He finishes his tea and sighs. "Okay. I'll take them at least at first. If you want them for a bit before they've faded, just let me know, but I should get going with them. I have some household tasks I should do today."
