Conspicuously Competitive - Drea loves testing herself, either against her own abilities or against others. She played a ton of sports growing up, and is hard-pressed to turn down a challenge.
Rhysand - Why yes, Drea does enjoy smutty fantasy novels, why do you ask? Her grade horse has some Friesian and perhaps some Andalusian or Percheron in it, and is named for a Dark Fae.
No Clear Booze - Beer, wine, mead, all perfectly fine. Brown boozes or colored liqueurs, all fine. Clear booze? No thank you. Bad experiences.
- Grew up in a large working class family in Kansas, got into as many sports as possible in school, from soccer to wrestling to track and field.
- Got started racing motocross in middle school. It wasn't until high school that she got to ride her first horse and fell in love with it.
- Went to a Ren Faire on a date once and saw a way to compete on horseback a lot more directly.
- Tried jousting on her own, loved poking things with a stick from horseback, went to another Ren Faire on her own and spent the whole time hanging around the performers.
- Connected with professional jousters, not just performers, and was on the circuit for several years, winning a few prizes and breaking a few bones.
- Got into Historical European Martial Arts as a way to train to get hurt less often.
- Had a health scare and decided she needed something with real health insurance rather than just scraping up whatever she could jousting professionally and working retail on the off-season.
A hand or so under six feet, this woman's blond hair tumbles down just beneath her shoulders in faintly strawberry waves when it isn't bound up and away from her face. Her oval, palely-tanned face is host to delicate features: neat brows, an upturned nose, a sharp chin, bright blue-gray eyes with darker rims, and full lips. Those delicate features are not found as readily in her build, as she has broad shoulders and a strong, solid build. A scatter of scars decorate the backs of her hands, particularly across the knuckles.
