Katrin

• Chicago - Katrin was born and raised in Chicago. But left when she was fifteen.
• Distractable - Influenced by the presence of ghostly specters and the inconveniently timed visions, it's not difficult for Katrin to end up somewhere without a full understanding of how.
• Los Angeles - She spent much of her early adult life bouncing up and down the West Coast. But Los Angeles was the magnet she most frequently returned to.
• Musician - Former young prodigy turned lounge singer. She opts for stripped-down covers of pop and rock songs, alongside her own tracks. This is what she performs at the bars around the park (usually the Spookeasy).
• Occult - She has both a broad interest in occult iconography and a more specific interest in spirits and different variations of the afterlife.
• Partier - Drink, drug, dance, and other relevant distractions.
• Poet - An old hobby of hers that has been gradually drawing itself back up out of her history and into the present. She fills scrapbooks in her time off.

Short, lithe, and with a tendency toward sly smiles and knowing smirks. Katrin is 5'3" and svelte of build, with slender limbs implying height that she doesn't have - an illusion that's quickly shattered the moment that she's positioned next to nearly anyone else. But she's neither starved nor unfit - with a contrast between her softer curves and some meager muscle tone that lends toward her figure suiting the lace dresses, gothic blouses (complete with elaborate collars and poofy sleeves), and flowy skirts she performs in. Her eyes are a borderline mystical, glaucous gray - evoking the same wintery climes of her Ukrainian heritage as those shades of midnight that colour her dark hair.

But there's something else about her eyes - it's in the slight glow of those misty shades of gray and how they seem to swirl around within the confines of her irises at such a subtle pace that it might not be noticed at a glance; like ice fog off a mountain lake in the morning. When her hair is done up in a messy bun or tied in a intermittently habitual braid, another curious feature is on display: her ears. Those pointy, elfin ears, working conspiratorially with her mystic eyes give her something of a dark fae aesthetic to go with her occupationally occult-lite wardrobe. When her hair is down, it's nearly long enough to reach the small of her back.

While at work, Katrin leans into occult iconography and the public perception of 'palatably witchy' fashions, and her day-to-day wear may incorporate some of this, sporadically, but is much more likely to be influenced by seasonal weather and comfort. Her tattoos are are uniformly black and gray against pale skin, with no real pops of colour to distinguish the wealth of floral imagery and occult symbolism that she clearly leans toward.
