Rigel has a strong, athletic physique born of lots of training and performing as an acrobat. He has long brown hair that falls in curls to his shoulders that is often drawn back away from his face and sports a neatly trimmed beard and moustache. His eyes are a pale grey to almost blue, his skin tanned from lots of time spent outside in the sun. He appears to be in his late twenties to early thirties when out of costume.

The costume itself is fairly good at concealing his identity, covering him from head to foot in the iridescent blues, greens, and golds of a hummingbird with a mask that covers his face capped with several large feathers with fluffy plumage. Tiny jingling bells give warning before he arrives.
