Sully's is a face full of character, with eye-crinkling crows feet stamped around his baby-blue eyes when he laughs or smiles, or lines furrowing his brow when he's worried. The expressive features help to soften his overall appearance which could be intimidating. At 5'10", he's not overly tall, but he's broad shouldered and well muscled. In anything other than long sleeves and long pants, the skin of his limbs and torso reveal tattoos of various sorts. He's usually bearded, but now and then he shaves and starts from scratch, so the beard is always in flux.

While on shift, he tends to wear basic blue scrubs, but when he's not on duty, he's a jeans and t-shirt sort of guy most of the time.
