Located In: Crescent Island
The skate park located not far from the central square park near the waterfront is designed for all skill levels, and invites anything with wheels that is self propelled such as scooters, skateboards, roller blades, and bikes. The immediate grassy outskirts of the park are home to a couple of bleachers north and south of the park itself, and also has shaded tables to the east, allowing places for spectators and picnics. The park has a mixture of half-pipes, quarter-pipes, bowls, hills, stairs and rails. Some of these features cater to a beginner with smaller ramps and wide platforms to practice, and the others are higher risk obstacles that are intended to challenge those with experience. Graffiti murals have been painted on the park walls by artists that were at one time, or still are, part of the park; the main mural has a hooded 'magical' wizard surrounded by neon green and blue miasma doing an ollie.
