River Serpent

This large, aquatic serpent is about 40' long, and proves to be incredibly agile. It seems to be amphibious being comfortable in water or with its head above water. Its long body is covered in large iridescent scales that seem to have a very sharp edge though they look like enameled glass. Feathery horns seem to extend off the crown of its head but move a bit as if suspended in water. Intelligent bright yellow eyes seem to make logical sense of the world and its inhabitants in it.

Behaviorally the body of the River Serpent and the long teeth seem to merit caution, though it seems more interested in eating the many fish in the waters around the islands- particularly it has taken keen interest in the aquarium so some safety there is suggested. It is also capable of engulfing water to emit in a sharp jet blast, and roll in the water to make waves big enough to knock adults down.

Attempts to commune with it using Animal Influence have only gotten so far though it seems to recognize what people were trying to do. Perhaps it is capable of human levels of thought? Unclear as to the gender of the creature if it even has one. Several names has been suggested, but none of them stuck. Merchandizing is in process.
