Threadlets

Contrary to their appearance, threadlets are not ghosts. These shy stringy, fuzzy critters are found exclusively within the Boo'edwalk, and most frequently at the Haunted Estate. At first glance, some may be mistaken for dust bunnies! They are completely silent and fairly small. It is common to see them in small groups, huddled together in shadowy corners or under low furniture.

They seem to form from loose threads that collect together, which means they may occasionally have streaks of color in their otherwise white bodies. Over time, the threads - or strings, ribbons, bits of fluff - lose their color. They can be lured out with offerings of new threads, but they rarely linger and will dart away quickly to avoid being touched or stepped on.
