This ability allows an individual to banish ghosts, spirits, demons, and other ephemeral beings, effectively dematerializing them and sending them away from the current location for a period of time.
A roll must be made to successfully banish the entity. Successes determine the duration of the banishment.
Success Levels:
Banishment does not destroy the entity. It merely sends it away from the area and prevents it from returning to that area for a period of time. To bar an entity from returning to an area, the warding ability could be employed before the banishment wears off.
| Levels | |
|---|---|
| 1 | A single low-powered entity may be banished from a single small dwelling, clearing, or area within a larger structure. |
| 2 | A single moderately-powered entity may be banished from a single small dwelling, clearing, or area within a larger structure. |
| 3 | A single high-powered entity may be banished from a single small dwelling, clearing, or area within a larger structure. |
In FS3 combat, banishment operates as a subdue on a successful roll.
