Charms

Description

A charm is an item that has had magic imbued into it, allowing it a single-use magical effect which will consume the item on use. The individual has learned how to harness the magical energy around them and place it inside an item for later use. These items are usually small to fit in one's pocket and relatively inexpensive since they will vanish, crumble, or disintegrate on use. Each charm costs one point of luck to create, which staff will subtract from your total after the charm is created.

To create a charm, you need to open one job per charm created:

  • Open a job in the CHARM category.
  • Put the type of charm in the title of the job.
  • Add the recipient of the charm to the job.
  • Describe what the charm is and what it does in the job.
  • Staff will charge you one luck point, the cost of creating the charm.

If you are creating a charm in an STed scene, you can spend the luck in front of the ST and just note that in the job with a link to the scene afterward.

Charms can be transferred to other people. If you give your charm to someone else, you must note it in the charm's job and add them to the participant list on the job. The job will be closed when the charm is used.
