Control Air

Description

This ability allows an individual control over air. At lower levels, small gusts and breezes can be created, while at higher levels, more powerful effects such as creating pockets of breathable air and purifying the atmosphere of toxins can be accomplished. The various levels of control abilities are suggestions to the types of effects that can be created. One can choose other applications not listed so long as they fall within the same relative power level as those listed.

A roll is required to activate this ability which determines the duration of the effect unless otherwise noted at the individual levels below.

Success Levels:

  • Success: Duration of up to five minutes.
  • Good Success: Duration of fifteen minutes to an hour.
  • Great Success: Duration of an hour to a couple of hours.
  • Amazing Success: Duration of several hours.

Limits

This ability can only affect air and gasses within the atmosphere.

Levels
1 The individual may manipulate air in small ways such as blowing out candles, knocking over small objects, directing the flight of a paper airplane, creating a cool breeze in a room, blow away noxious gasses, and fanning flames.
2 The individual may moderately control air to stir up sand to blind an individual or knock thrown weapons off course. Individuals may create an air shield for themselves that blows things away from them, increasing defense in combat. They may also create breathable air where there is none for a single individual.
3 The individual may glide and slow their fall or that of another, helping them to land safely. They can create a wind buffet that can suppress a target as well as create a stronger shield of air. At this level, the individual can cast an air shield on others as well. Each cast takes a round.
