Located In: Spellbound Island - Mechano-Arcana Midway
From the outside, Giga-Giggles looks like the head of a gigantic steampunk robot, tubes filled with glowing gas protruding from its dome, gears all a-whirr, digital eyes bright with laughter. Its large metallic mouth, caught mid-guffaw, serves as the entrance into the intimate comedy club.
The circular room features two levels of seating with a small stage at the back, plenty of space for a single comic to work the crowd but a cozy fit for even a small improv troupe. The small round tables of the lower level and the larger rectangular tables along the shallow mezzanine level all have an oversized lightbulb-like centerpiece sticking out of them which will light up when those at the table laugh. It might be magic! That magic might involved attentive technicians behind the scenes doing a grand job keeping up with the crowd.
A bar off to one side offers a selection of beverages with ridiculous names and even more outrageous twisty straws in a wild assortment of colors. Each is served with a weird little novelty gizmo game on the rim. Small snacks, like candy, popcorn coated in candy, and pretzels with optional candy add-ins, can be purchased there too, even late at night.
