Entering the apartment finds a guest bathroom to the left, while on the right side is a door leading into a small coat closet, along with a bench and hooks up on the wall to hang items from. The short entryway opens up into a larger area, the common rooms of the apartment spacious and bright, with the multipaned windows offering a view of Lake Michigan and plenty of sunlight during the day. The walls are an off-white and have a few pieces of artwork upon them and the floors are wood-inspired, with hardly a scuff to be seen.
The furniture is plush and comfortable, with a large couch and several arm chairs in the living room. A flat screen TV is up on the wall, with the furniture mostly situated around it. Several small tables allow for places to set things and are usually kept neat. Throw blankets and decorative pillows can be found on the furniture. At some point, a multi-colored throw rug has been added to the living room, just for a pop of color and warmth during the colder months.
The kitchen is spacious, with an island that has stools on one side of it, allowing for a place to sit and eat in lieu of a dining room. The appliances are all clean and well looked after, with counters that are usually kept clear of clutter. A few potted herbs and a bowl of fruit can be found there.
Two short hallways to either side of the commons lead to the bedrooms and the bathrooms that each room shares, having space for four occupants. Probably the most notable thing about the apartment are the amount of plants that are found within it. They're on shelves up on the walls, the floor near the windows and any available space that can hold a pot. Greenery thrives, while African violets bloom in an array of jewel colored tones, along with orchids in pastel pinks and purples. The smell isn't overwhelming, but instead a pleasant fragrance that's just barely noted.
