Presentation Area

Located In: Starlight Island

Situated beneath an awning of shady tree limbs is a raised wooden stage with a number of small ramps, slides, ropes, doors, baskets, pulleys and other features on it. Here, a number of demonstrations occur year round featuring behaviors of the various animals that reside within the nature park as well as talks about conservation and repopulation efforts.

The park serves as a rehabilitation center as well as a permanent home for animals that have been injured or cannot be returned to the wild. It is also the site which contributes to breeding programs for endangered species. All of this is explained on a number of signs posted at the entrance to the seating area.

The seating area is comprised of carved wooden benches that form an arc around the stage area. The sounds of bird calls and animal cries can be heard from other areas of the park, the entire area alive with wildlife.
