Located In: Fable Island - Storybook Resort
A sandy beach stretches out just south of the pool area of the resort and to the west of the King's Launch marina. Here, there is a small tiki bar where drinks can be purchased and an outdoor kitchen where food is sometimes prepared for beach events. There are a number of amenities that can be set up and torn down depending on what activities are planned. Sometimes, there are volleyball nets set up in the sand. At other times, there are long tables with log benches and tiki torches set up for a night time feast. At other times, there are musicians playing and fire dancers spinning poi on the sand. During the day, the beach is often clear for walkers, runners, and swimmers to enjoy the water which remains unusually warm for Lake Michigan for some distance out from the island.
