2025-03-07 - A Promise Kept

After returning from a weekend in Paris and during his first shift on the job, Enzo decides to send a particular video from the last karaoke night to someone who had requested it.

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Hey, I got you a little present.

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Video: Murder, Mayhem & Mystery : Karaoke Event - Trace and Avery are singing Murder on the Dancefloor

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: omg! you weren't kidding!

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: he .. is he dancing? like.. legit choreography..

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: You never see your brother dance?

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: That's Avery. The girl he's dancing with.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: i mean sure but like stuffy party dancing and dancing at weddings

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: ah, so that's Avery. pretty. he's mentioned her.

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: You've never seen your brother partying with his friends then? I'd think you'd see him dancing there.

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: But yeah, Avery's a real looker.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: we didn't really hang out with the same people

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: so, full disclosure, mystery prince. i figured out who you are.

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Oh, have you? Did I leave you more than enough clues?

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: yeah. did you want to be found out?

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: I trust that you won't go blabbing to your parents or brothers so... I don't think it really matters.

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Are you surprised?

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: of course not. that's between you and Trace.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: a little

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: but it makes sense

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Just a little? Oh? Does it make sense now? How so?

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: sure, in fair verona where we set our scene. it's very capulets and montagues, but with fewer teenagers and hopefully less death

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: how was paris?

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Haha. I guess it's something like that. And you know about Paris? Paris was wonder... wait, what do you know about Paris?

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: i know Trace was in paris. he sent me pictures.

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: What did he say about it?

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: that he was having an amazing time, that he didn't want it to end, that he could just move in to that winery

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: I wonder how hard it would be to run a winery anyway.

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: So did I give that away too that we were there together? I really need to remember who I'm talking to.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: nah, he told me he was there with you, even if he still hasn't told me who you are, and i haven't told him i know

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Ahh. Did he mention that it was a Park thing?

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: oh he told me about the auction, yeah

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Okay... And what do you think about that?

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: i think it's cute that a charity got a great big hunk of cash so that the two of you could run off to paris for a weekend together

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: btw, i'm coming out to the park next week.

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: It was a much needed vacation if you ask me. Next week? Awesome. It would be great to finally meet The Keeper of Secrets.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: i know! i can't wait to get to actually meet you. we'll have fun!

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: I'm sure Trace will be excited

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: yeah, he's already got plans to try and show me everything. can't wait.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: so, you had a good time in paris too, huh?

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Why wouldn't I have?

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: It's Paris! And I chose the location...

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: of course, how silly of me

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Being back at work sucks though.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: i bet. what a come down.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: you'll just have to plan another vacation to escape to. something to look forward to!

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: I have something in mind but after Paris and this project I'm working on at the Park, it might take a few months before I can go anywhere.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: i'm sure it'll be worth the wait

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Hey, I got a question. I don't expect you to know the answer to, but... how does the uh court case against my dad look on your family's end? I just want to know. It might help inform me of my own dad's mood, you know.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: i don't know. dad's been in new york all week dealing with something on it.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: but i don't know what. i just know mom's been holding the fort at the office here.

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Hmm. Interesting. I guess there's some traction. I don't know if that's good or bad. Thanks.

[TXT to Enzo] Camilla: if i hear more, i'll let you know

[TXT to Camilla] Enzo: Thanks, I appreciate it. Anyway, can't wait to finally meet you next week.
