Trace stands a few inches over six feet tall with an athletic build and lightly tanned skin. His eyes are a dark brown, his hair black, and a nearly perpetual light scruff present unless he remembers to shave.
There is a tattoo at the base of the back of his neck that looks a little like a stylistic black tree surrounded by stars inside a kind of halo that encompasses the branches. And from his back, extending from a separate set of muscles just behind his shoulderblades, extend a pair of long black feathered wings like a bird's.
His clothing tends toward the understated and practical -- jeans, laced black boots, a dark colored shirt of some kind, modified to accommodate his wings. All of his shirts and jackets are tailored to accommodate the large appendages.
