[TXT to Angelo] Trace: Hey. How's it going?

[TXT to Trace] Angelo: suspiciously good? Trying to get the hang of water landings

[TXT to Trace] Angelo: If you're up for this practice lmk I will warn that wings are a literal drag under water

[TXT to Trace] Angelo: Aisley made me promise to practice at the pool this time

[TXT to Trace] Angelo: how you? You ok?

[TXT to Angelo] Trace: Yeah, gonna pass on water landings. Especially if the lake is involved. While my wings are water resistant they are not waterproof and I've already got some issues with that after everything.

[TXT to Angelo] Trace: I will totally come out and cheer you on though?

[TXT to Angelo] Trace: I'm good. Wanted to catch up and hang out if you're up for it.

[TXT to Trace] Angelo: Dude it's how I almost drown twice. Not ready for that again

[TXT to Angelo] Trace: I can't make my wings go away, either.

[TXT to Angelo] Trace: I mean, I can; but I have to leave the park.

[TXT to Trace] Angelo: oh no! srs?

[TXT to Trace] Angelo: you and Wes 🙁

[TXT to Angelo] Trace: Yeah, these are a permanent addition. I mean, don't get me wrong.. I like them.

[TXT to Angelo] Trace: But it's like being used to driving a mini and suddenly driving an SUV. Had to relearn my clearance.

[TXT to Trace] Angelo: Oooh ya now sprained a shoulder that way once. Walked it off after a few hours but if you need someone to commiserate with igu

[TXT to Trace] Angelo: That said I always got time for ya man. Let's do this.

[TXT to Angelo] Trace: Alright. Where are you? Or wanna meet up somewhere?

[TXT to Trace] Angelo: Voyage presently. I can get anywhere if given enough time to dry off lol

[TXT to Angelo] Trace: Roof of the resort? I'll buy you a drink.

[TXT to Trace] Angelo: you speak my language brt in 15

Trace lands on the roof deck and strolls over toward the bar. It's between dinner and the usual evening events so it's pretty quiet, some people gathered here and there but not the usual crowd as when there's an event or for the fireworks. He leans up against the bar to wait for Angelo to arrive. Currently, he's dressed in his usual black jeans, black boots. His shirt is a pale sky blue today, a modified button-down worn open over a modified white tank top beneath that allows for his wings in the back, stylish buttons along the sides where it wraps around and fastens in place. One of many garments Dante has helped him out with.

it's about 23 minutes later in reality when Angelo comes streaking across the bright summer sky leaving a faint gold streak of sparkling light behind him. Sunglasses on, hair dried by flight, shirt banished as is expected, swim trunks on and barefoot with a duffelbag. He tries to air brake and hover before landing as he's got no shoes on. Sandals get dug out of the bag and dropped down, he flips one butter-side up again to stuff his feet into.

The bartender looks over and says "Kerekes-"

He says "I know. I got it." There's a wink and a point before he also pulls out the shirt and slides it on- the button up he doesn't really bother to button up. He points to the shoes and the shirt winning a thumbs up from the bartender. Zipping his bag he makes his way to Trace with a wry, dimpled grin. "I'd have been here faster but I lost a sandal over the Boo'ed walk and a stonekin ran off with it." He leans forward with a finger to poke the new wings. "Awww you're so fluffy I love it."

Trace leans against the bar, one elbow resting on it as he watches Angelo's arrival, descent, and subsequent adherence to the dress code. A smile quirks his lips a little and he extends one wing carefully to its full wingspan as Angelo pokes at it, making sure he's not going to clothesline anyone in the process. They are large. Even folded they just about touch the ground in the back. He laughs a little at the comment and says, "The down is, yeah." The longer flight feathers are sleek and glossy. He doesn't seem to mind the touching. When Angelo's done looking, he folds the wing back in behind him.

"Glad you got it back. Those little guys are surprisingly fast when they make off with something," Trace opines and then nods toward the bar. "What am I getting you?" He then places an order for his own drink, as well.

Angelo says with some officialness, "I was honed from a young age with siblings who love running off with my shit. I got a strategy and a lot of practice. Blackbelt in Brothering." He doesn't poke him for long, but Trace is given the same level of interest had he said he got a new car for Angelo to check out too. "You get good speed with em yet?" The eyebrows go up with a grin like he's excited to have others to talk about this stuff with.

"Awww nice. What's the one that's like blue with the parrot made of fruit on the side? Blue Mango Mai Tai I think. Fruit's good for you right?" Angelo does pull out his ID as is the rules, and asks, "Sooo how are things since we got back?"

"Working on it," Trace laughs when Angelo asks about the speed. "Still getting used to it. But I figure that'll come with time and practice, probably." He gives them a little bit of a ruffle and lets them settle again. "Not quite ready for racing. But I do like not having to worry about missing the ferry if I want to get from one island to another."

"Fruit is definitely good for you," Trace opines and orders a Blue Mango Mai Tai for Angelo and a Cranberry Orange Whiskey Sour for himself. "Things are good," Trace says with a crooked little grin. "Real good. How about you? Was nice to finally meet Aisley the other night."

Angelo finds something good in Trace's retelling of this; something good he seems happy about after the months of antagonizing chaos. "The view from the roof of your office is pretty amazing." The first place he went when he got his wings, and still his favourite; the castle roof.

When Aisley and the flower dance is brought up he gets that look where he smiles and his braincells lose a bit of power. "I'm glad you got to met her. She's been..." His brow furrows for a moment, "Very patient during competition season. I'm actually happy and not just working on goals ya know?" The grin gets wide, "She SO wanted to text Enzo when we were moving him. I was like ummm that'd be a bad idea. She bites."

Looking over Trace he asks curious, "How you healing up?"

"The view from the window of my office is pretty amazing, too," Trace chuckles. "I haven't actually tried the roof yet. But I don't go into the office all that much anymore, not since they put me on choreography pretty much full time. I don't actually set up any shows anymore. Though I do go in to work on some of the systems for it from time to time."

"She seems cool," Trace says. "And I'm glad you're like, taking a little time to just enjoy things, too. Goals are great. And I know you've got a plan and all, but taking a little time to just be, and to share that with somebody is good stuff." There's the slightest wince when Angelo mentions the move. "I.. yeah. That was.. a whole thing."

"Healing up?" he asks, and then pauses, and then says, "You mean from the whole.." incident. "King pretty much fixed me up good as new as soon as I was back on the island. I had a little phantom pain for a bit, but yeah, been fully healed for a couple months now."

Angelo listens and brightens up as the bartender drops off drinks and leaving a tip in the hurricane glass for them. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiip he listens to the story of the working from home to which he adds his insight, "I'd ask to take the office with you. Just tack the coupla to the apartment building. Why not." Just delete and readd chunks of castle to places is a plan now.

When Trace winces there's a line press of Angelo's lips offering Trace, "You tried. I'd have still helped. It needed to happen. Just-" He shakes his head. Optimistically he adds, "I got a really good date out of it. A baddie made me empanadas for the ordeal. So technically I should be buying you a drink."

He takes another drink and taps his chest. "Didn't mean the body. King does great work. We're lucky she was available." Says Danger Boy.

Trace shakes his head and says, "I go back there sometimes and I get to enjoy it whenever I want. My desk is still there. And I get to work from home when I want, which is nice. When Enzo isn't out on Moonrise, we get to share an office and work in the same place since we moved in together." Something else that happened since they moved Enzo out of his father's place.

He does grin when Angelo mentions getting a really good date out of it. "I'm glad there was some good that came out of it. And you did get to drive a fancy car home in peace?" Since all three of them had to drive a vehicle back. "I'm hoping that things will just keep getting better now that he's got a chance to do his own thing, make his own name, and isn't tied to his father. It's been a change. His dad cut him off. But since then at least he doesn't keep getting calls from him? So there's that."

"Oh," Trace says when Angelo clarifies that he didn't mean the body. "You know," he trails off with a shrug of his shoulders. "Getting better a bit at a time. Still not super comfortable out on the water but that was a thing before the whole near drowning. Little boats still make me nervous. The ferry's fine. I think because there's no real bad associations with the ferry. Being on Castle Island is fine. I just don't go down to the barge. Figure it'll just take time."

Angelo says "I have noticed it is quiet across the hall now. Mmhmm well good though. Some new form of normalcy can't hurt." First thing he can get on board with in all of that. The frustration lives deep but he's trying to stay constructive without too much of the disappointment showing.

"Fucking love that car, won't lie." The grin returns with some fondness attached to it. "Cut off is good. maybe we should have gone to him sooner. Finally a fucking favour." The one good thing Castillo Sr. has done for any of them.

The important part in this is the inner healing. There's a small nod. "You know, I get it." A hand comes up in pause or apology. "When I was working on high bar you start going around super fast to get your momentum back up so you can get to the top on the other wide. You do the skill but mid flight you can't see. You are literally flying blind and if you come down too close you can take your head right off. I clipped the edge of it and luckily I was coming down at am angle. Broke my face and thought that was it. I could not do a big wheel for...ever. Not without someone there as a spotter with the pads and a lot of psyching up." Thoughtfully he offers, "We'll spot ya. We'll get ya there, Trace. "

"Hey, we weren't loud before," Trace laughs just a little bit. "Not that we're particularly loud now either, just a floor up." There's a fight sigh and he says, "Yeah. It's just nice to not have him calling constantly anymore. Not that I think he's done with us. I'm sure he's out there waiting to cause more trouble. But for now, I'm enjoying the bit of peace."

As for the rest, he nods slightly and says, "It's.. a little different, but yeah, I'll be fine. I'll get past it." He doesn't seem particularly interested in dwelling on it. "So what's new with you? What else have you been up to?"

Angelo laughs regarding the noise, "Try harder!" What is new with Angelo? "Birthday went well. Pretty low-key but really glad I got to spend it with Saint and Dante. Been a while and as someone that is decidedly not a loner? Shit gets really lonely without them. Like I know things are changing and all but I never got used to being that far away." He looks to Trace as he takes a bite of his pineapple to see if any of that makes sense.

"Went to three competitions. Placed well! Pulled second to some guy that's like nineteen and making me feel old man." Twenty-three, quite ancient, though in sports less unheard of. "I think training here is helping but I'm waiting for someone to call a DQ on it and get me flagged sooo I don't know. Since there's no rules against magical trianing facilities I'm going to stay put." There's the little grin again. Angelo, Rule-Bender, enjoying life.

"So I was thinking about these portals. You popped into them yet? I've been holding off cause the Sibs said let's let someone else test that first. Sooo did yoooooooooou?"

"Oh shit!" Trace says when Angelo mentions that it was his birthday. "And I missed it? Wait. Did I know when it was?" No, he did not. "Okay, I'm going to say I get a pass this year because I didn't know. But I'm definitely getting you guys belated gifts. And next year, I am going to do.. something. I don't know what yet, but I will think of something."

But the news about the competition gets another broad grin, "That's awesome." Then he laughs, "Yeah, you're about retirement age aren't you there, bud?" He's very much teasing as he himself is three years older. But also not an athlete. "It's not like you're doping. And any advantage you have here is gone as soon as you leave. I'd think it'd hurt more than help? Not sure if that's enough to not DQ you though. Hopefully everything'll just keep going well there."

"Yeah, Enzo and I went into the first one," Trace says. "Prime guinea pigs. It was pretty cool. There was a forest with these silver trees with blue and green leaves. There were some itty bitty tiny deer there, lots of birds, and there were some ruins that could have been some sort of fort or castle or something. Enzo did a little more examining of that. OH! And we saw a Pegasus fly overhead."

Angelo looks touched by the idea and says "Not required, but totally welcome. It was 12th of last month. Really low key. Went to the mainland to just hand out, the three of us, and do some shopping. Probably going to have folks over and you're welcome to come if that happens." he pauses and adds, "Enzo too."

There's a snicker and he says "Getting close! There's like one guy that's nearing thirty. Couple of us in or near our mid-20s. You can only do so many knee surgeries before they start to picket and declare war." His hand wobbles, "I have no wear and tear on muscles that's sustainable like other people do, not that the world knows or believes that. but I figure if they didn't tell Usain Bolt he can't run cause booo he doesn't form lactic acids in his muscles then maybe they won't make a stupid rule for this."

He adds, "They have a stupid rule about pants. They keep wanting us to wear the uniform that rides up but if we wear the comfy pants it's a tenth point deduction." There's an eye roll. "Worth it."

His eyes get larger, "Look at you trailblazing. That explains Iseul's tiny deer. That sounds amazing." His mouth opens, "Wing horse? Did you ride it? Did it accept you as a one of its own?"

"That sounds nice," Trace says when Angelo mentions that it was a low key birthday with a trip to the mainland and shopping. When he's invited over and Enzo as well, Trace nods just a little bit and then says, "If you're sure. I know things were really tense during the move and.. I'm not entirely sure what he was trying to say at the flower ball but I don't want to make things uncomfortable."

"Wait," he says, "They don't let you wear pants? I thought I saw gymnasts at the olympics in pants.. They actually take points off for them? That's.. weird."

"Yeah, that's the trip that Iseul was on. Enzo and I were there with her, and a few others." Then he laughs and shakes his head, "It just flew by. There was no riding the flying horse. Not that time, anyway."

Angelo laughs and promises, "We do, but they are not the most comfortable. It's a whole layered situation without the best inventory management." His hand wobbles. "One of my teammates is working on it. Dante's now involved so you can imagine how it's going."

When Trace brings up the Flower Ball there's a bit of a shade that comes over his expression. "We're not going to say don't bring your dude. You're my friend. I'm not going to put you in that situation. If it gets weird we'll worry about it then."

"She seemed so excited about it. Seems nice. I told her and, uh, I think Ash? I told them we should go poke around at things. They seemed really cool. Might see if they're into board games or something. I'm bad at keeping a social life with practice but it's my new-New Year's resolution." Last one was bust. "Sooo was the pegasus your favourite part? That sounds surreal being one of the first people to set foot in that place when people literally came after you to keep that portal from opening. Amazing. Fucking poetic really."

Trace just chuckles at the term 'inventory management' and says, "Well if anyone can help manage your inventory, it's Dante." He is helping Trace with his own limb issues, after all.

"I don't think they came after me to keep the portal from opening," Trace says, but doesn't elaborate more than that. "But, it was pretty cool to get to be on one of the first teams to go in given how much we worked to find the Siphon and dive for it and do all the research with the whole team." Then he nods in agreement, "Iseul and Ash seem cool. I don't really know them at all, but from what I've seen of them they seem nice. Having a social life is definitely a good thing."

Then he shifts gears a little back to Enzo, "I know. I just don't want there to always be tension every time we're around one another. I wish I knew how to help that not be a thing." He shakes his head slowly and then adds, "Especially since he and I are engaged now.." He can't help the little grin that spreads across his features when he says it. "You're the first person I've told."

Angelo, feeling vindicated by understanding says, "Yeah Dante's most allergic to inconvenience so it works out in our favour doesn't it?" He takes in the bits about what it feels like to go. Truthfully his friend needed a win and this seems to count for Angelo following Trace's description of events.

When Trace gets to the end both eyebrows lift in surprise and a grin widens. "Noooshit? He's takin your name right?" Both hands come up and he says "So I'm thinking we hide the announcements under an anagram and also send a dude with a handcuffed briefcase to dead drop the announcement to those that need to know." He's clearly joking, but in a way also not.

There's a pause wherein he and Enzo hadn't been exactly 'good' he says, "I am happy for you."

Trace laughs a little bit and says, "We might have talked about names a little when we were in Paris, but that was mostly when we were talking about running away together and hiding out from the world. We're not really doing the clandestine thing anymore." Then he admits, "We haven't really talked about any details or plans yet. I think we're just enjoying.. this, right now. It's enough that I asked and he said yes. But I'll let you know the plans once we make them." There's a little pause and then he nods his head and says, "Thanks. I appreciate it."

Taking a drink from his very blue whatever-it-is he asks with some amusement, "Who asked? I'll admit to dire curiosity if Enzo agreed to someone else's idea for a change." He seems to have a guess, but not a whole idea. There's a pause as he thinks something over and offers only, "Whatever's going on definitely skip the part about people's opinions on it in the ceremony in case a soap opera breaks out and if you need help, I got you."

"I did," Trace says when Angelo asks about who asked, "Well. I more just said 'Marry me' and he said there's no one else he'd rather spend the rest of his life with." He takes a sip from his own drink and then says, "Though he did say he was probably going to have a whole thing planned out when he proposed," with a little chuckle. "Probably something elaborate and detailed like Paris. I kind of got ahead of him this time. I just.. felt it.. and went with the moment." He can't help but chuckle when Angelo mentions leaving out the bit about if anyone objects. "Probably a good idea. No objections allowed." Though he does reach out and clasp Angelo's shoulder, "Thank you. I appreciate the offer of help. When I know more, I'll let you know."

"Hey, I'm not above taking a swing at someone that really needs one. Just saying." If the battle in the tunnels was any indication there. Angelo reaches up giving Trace's forearm a squeeze while it's on his shoulder and responds, "Well I think he needs fewer very elaborate things so good. Unplanned things I think are often better. OF which, when Saint, decides what we're doing I'll make sure you know." Curious he wonders, "You doin it here? I know it like jsut happened so I don't really expect an answer."

Trace grins and then releases Angelo's shoulder, lifting his glass to take another long drink from it. "Yeah, definitely let me know when you guys decide whatever it is that you're going to do." He is game for that. As for where they're doing it? "No idea. We really haven't talked about plans at all yet. So I don't know when, I don't know where, I don't know how, I don't know.. anything other than that yes, we're going to. At some point. Once we make those plans."

"I mean no rush, right?" Angelo grins and gives his blue drinks a swish. "Got all the time to build the world you want. Enjoy it. " Curious he wonders, "What the hell is next for us?" It's a big question for 23, but an ideal time to ask if any. Huh. It's almost audible but there's a glance over to Trace with a hint of mischief asking, "How far'd you fly out yet? You head to Moonlight to see if it changed at all with everything else? That's where they said Z could build yeah? You take a look at all yet?"

"I think next is figuring out how this tech and magic can be combined in this world, see if we can make it extend beyond the islands, see how we can make the world a better place with it if we can," Trace considers as he looks down into his own drink for a moment. Then he shrugs and says, "I'm not sure for me, though, really. Mostly I'm still just choreographing fireworks shows, you know? And I still enjoy that. But the idea of exploring other worlds? I kind of want to do that, too."

"Yeah, we were over at Moonrise the other night. But then, I've been over there with Enzo a few times. There's some temporary structures up there, offices. They're surveying the island and making plans for the designs, evaluating the infrastructure that's there already, that sort of thing."

"Magic and tech." Angelo knew this from the car but it is still huge for him to think about. "Not tonight it's not. I forbid the world to change as we know it until I am conveniently drunk and more conveniently sober again. "I do want to see how it turns out though." He's on board for this as a non-technician can be excited about it.

The grin widens curiously, "They got stuff there? Shit we should finish these drinks and go bother it. I haven't been to Moonrise in months. We'll do our own survey. I am glad that you're finding a way to do the thing you love to do, but on your terms."

Trace chuckles and says, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic," quoting someone or another from something or another. "Maybe it's all a flavor of tech. Maybe it's all a flavor of magic. But it's fascinating to see how it all comes together. And honestly, I'm just really glad to see him working on plans, drawings, surveying, and getting out there and building something."

"I don't know as it's very exciting to bother, but yeah we can fly out there if you want to check it out. It's a few trailers and some trees marked for taking down at this point more than anything else."

He nods though, "As for me? Yeah, I'm happy just sort of doing what I do. Who knows? If those magical scientist people have need for a chemist, maybe I'll lend a hand there, but thus far I don't think anyone wants to go into another world and set off fireworks any time soon."

Curious Angelo muses "I wonder if magic is tech to the people behind the doors. That-" His head tilts as he sips his drink. "That's an interesting perspective. See this is why I like hanging out with smart people. Always something new to think about." Finishing his drink there's a laugh, "Trace, yes. While I am keeping some distance so I'm not kicked like a rock it is interesting. I'm glad he's got that to build on too."

Shaking his head he waves his had, "I am almost certain I heard there are other applications of chemistry than making dramatic sky glitter. I just have this feeling about it." The grin warms. "Time to see if we can fly in a direct line or take unexpected detours?"

Trace offers another one of those little apologetic smiles and lifts his drink toward Angelo before taking a sip. Then he laughs and says, "But I like making dramatic sky glitter." Then he pauses, "Not that I don't like chemistry in general. I wouldn't have spent as much time studying it as I have." But he drinks down the rest of his drink and then says, "Yeah. I'm ready if you are." He makes sure the tab and tip are taken care of and then he steps away from the bar and toward the edge of the roof deck before spreading his wings and taking off. There's something freeing about just being able to fly wherever he wants to go. Even being over the water doesn't bother him as much when he's flying high above it.

Angelo chuckles admitting, "And I like you making the sky dramatic. But I'm just saying you are good at a lot of other stuff. Like math, and other things that are volatile." Angelo adds to the tip for the dress code reminder fee to stay in their good graces. putting his flip flops back in his bag he hops up on the ledge and flashes a grin to Trace before doing a backward dive off the edge. Wings already buzzing like an insect he does a one and a half twist before zipping forward to catch up.

Louder he ways, "Going high is fun. Tell me you dragonflied before?" He points to the ground saying, "You get close but not like too close to the water so the high waves catch your fingers. Just can't let the wings touch cause surface tension is awful." Looking at Trace's more impressive feathered wingspan he adds, "That may not be a problem for you. Embrace your inner Duckie, Trace! Ya look great."

Trace can't help but laugh a little at the idea of volatile math. "Show off," he says as Angelo fairly backflips off the side of the building. He's not quite confident enough to be doing aerial tricks yet. But flying? Flying he has down pretty well, especially since the weather conditions around the park are unusually good.

"Dragon..flied?" Trace asks, having absolutely no idea what that means. He shakes his head though, when Angelo explains and says, "I'm.. not real good with getting close to the water.. or deep water, or even really being OVER the water.. but high enough, it feels a little less uncomfortable." He will be passing on trying to get down near the waves. He's good up here where he is.

The grin on Angelo goes unapologetically ear to ear. "Daaaaamn right I am." He does another corkscrew spiral in the air before Trace, in few words, points out what Angelo just asked. Yipe. Angelo means well, but missed that one. he pivots on that and says "Botanical gardens then! And it smells better, less scary, and if we crash it's soft." He can work with this. Having been getting over his tenuous relationship with the lake over some months he can empathize.

"I talked Dante into going to one of the worlds with me. I agreed to not try to stay if we find a ship citing 'I already got one'." he's heard about the frozen one it seems. As the sky gets a bit darker the bright sparkles that trail behind him stand out more. "Hoping Aisley has the night off. I like doing new things with her. She's on everyone else's schedule so much."

Trace doesn't seem upset and doesn't honestly seem to expect anyone to make accommodations for him. He's working through things at his own speed on his own time, but he sure doesn't begrudge anyone else their desire to plunge into or over or along the surface of the lake if that's their thing. "Botanical Gardens are good," Trace agrees with a laugh. "I mean we can still go out to Moonrise. I'll just stay up high. You're welcome to go surface skimming if you want."

"I heard there was one with a big pirate ship in it," Trace says in answer to Angelo. I immediately figured that'd totally be the one that you'd want to go to. He nods when he mentions hoping Aisley can go along. "Yeah, I imagine she's busy a lot when people have time off since that's when she'd be watching kids for people who want to go out. That can make scheduling rough."

"I kind of totally immediately did. The one underwater less so. I want to visit those tiny goats. Iseul sold me on team tiny goats." Angelo's breakdown supporting all the assumptions of him made today. As Moonrise is a ways out Angelo takes to making some S shapes in the air to keep thinks interesting. "If flight catches on we're going to need like some magical ATCs or something."

As for the challenge of Aisley's busy schedule he admits, "It is, but it works with my training schedule so we're both busy but it's fun to make the time. I think? I like the challenge of it." There's a grin to Trace who also knows something about trying new normals.

Trace doesn't fly fancy. He's just focused on holding a conversation and keeping aloft at the same time, gliding through the air and maintaining his trajectory and altitude, but he seems okay with splitting his concentration at this point. He's had some time to get used to flying, though not as long as Angelo has. "Tiny goats?" he asks, squinting. "Oh the little deer? They were pretty cute. Like only knee high."

He nods though when Angelo explains about the scheduling and says, "Yeah. As long as you're both having a good time and able to find some time, that's what matters. I'm really glad for you."

Angelo cuts loose now and then for a roll trying to avoid hitting the trees while looking for a clearing in the trees. Hovering there a moment he holds his hands a foot and a half high. "Yeah deer, goats, whatever. they're not the same?" Rural living has not been a thing for him. "Yeah, they sounded super cute. I dunno about pulling them out of their native environment and keeping it as a pet-" he pauses and clarifies, "As a keeper of hamsters, hypocrisy, I know."

Trace chuckles and says, "Can you imagine if Starlight started hosting a bunch of critters from other worlds? That'd be both strange and cool at the same time." But soon they are reaching Moonrise island. True to his word, there isn't a whole lot there, just some temporary structures for the surveying crews to work out of and where Enzo's office is. But they do take a little wander around to take a look, see where things are marked off for measuring and all of that. "Kinda cool," he says. "Enzo's explained some of it to me, but I'm looking forward to seeing it start to take shape." But that will be a while yet.

Angelo does try to imagine that and balks a laugh, "Daaaamn, the island would sink under the weight people fangirling over tiny glowy creatures. Myself included probably. Thankfully the sugar bun solves this for me." He's not immune.

Landing carefully at one of the site offices it's- well it's a unremarkable little middle of nowhere office. This is part of the process though, and as a performer, it is new and interesting to Angelo. "Should fly out here and leave little post-its for em." The thought entertains Angelo at least given the expression before something makes it wane.

"Be interesting to see how they se now available magic tech to execute the ideas too."

"Yeah," Trace says as they begin their stroll across Moonrise. "It's going to be really interesting to see where things go from here."
