2025-03-03 - Email to the Divers - Time Sensitive - Warning

Friends,

I thought this would be the easiest way to let you all know what I learned when I tried to talk to the spirits. I was hoping to also maybe reach out to a ghost, but, they are all below, with the wrecks, presumably. Which, makes sense. I really do need to fit those diving lessons in my schedule. I digress.

I did have one water spirit answer my call. I called him Llyr. He said I couldn't pronounce his name. It was hard to get information because, well, all the spirits were asleep when the magic came. It is the magic that woke them, or well, "the song". Seems the ship hums and sometimes sings. Most of the ships were already there when they started to wake. The spirit did not think it was the power, or energy, that caused them to sink... so that is still a mystery.

It did say something a bit concerning to me, at first. Llyr said, the power comes from beneath. It grows on its own. It said, "Let it grow. Use it. Feed its children." Have to admit, the feeding the children thing had me worried for a moment... but, after further discussion... I realized...

Those precious pink snugglebunnies are the children of the power! Not sure if there are more, or other kinds, but... yeah.

I also asked what we could do for the spirits and Llyr's answer was to spread the power.

I mentioned you all would be diving soon... asked if there was anything I should tell them to help keep you all safe. The answer was a bit ominous and, well, makes me worry for all of you. Llyr said, "It is powerful. It will defend itself. There are no bodies in the boats. It leaves no bodies behind." I couldn't ask anymore, it went away after that.
